Emmanuel TV

Emmanuel TV is the television station of the SCOAN and broadcasts 24/7. Their Thursday, Saturday and Sunday services, which include the prayer lines, are broadcast live. T. B. Joshua's programmes also air weekly on a number of local television stations across Africa. T. B. Joshua has donated televisions to prisons and hospitals so that they will be able to watch the Emmanuel TV broadcasts.^[77][78]

Popular Nigerian Actress Tonto Dikeh testified that Joshua’s prayers on Emmanuel TV stopped her smoking habit of 14 years.<sup>[79]

Tonto Charity Dikeh, also known as Tonto Dike (born June 9, 1985) is a Nigerian actress and singer from Rivers State and is of the Ikwerre tribe.^[1] Dikeh, is from a family of seven,.^[1]

In 2005 she competed against other contestants on a reality TV show called The Next Movie Star; she was the first runner up. Dikeh's appearance on the show was as a means of getting closer to the "big time", she says,^[1] and her start in the Nigerian movie industry came soon after.^[1] Nollywood, as it is colloquially known,^[2] is second only to the Indian film industry in number of movies produced each year.^[3][4]

Dikeh says that after her second movie Holy Cross, more movie directors and producers were willing to cast her, and she has appeared in scores of movies since. Dikeh's role in the movie Dirty Secret has generated controversy amongst Nigerians, because the movie contains nude scenes. While some criticize her role of being untraditional and un-African, others say that Dikeh is merely being professional.^[5][6]

In January 2011 Dikeh took part in a charity fashion show in Lagos with Banky W., Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and others.^[7]

Tonto was known in Nollywood as a chain smoker and had started smoking since the age of 14 but she recently testified that she stopped smoking after prayers with Pastor T.B. Joshua via his Christian television station Emmanuel TV.^[8]

Sunday 23rd June 2013 was an extraordinary day at The SCOAN because it registered the landmark for the global extension of the project Prophet T.B. Joshua introduced during his 50th birthday celebrations – the employment, empowerment and educational campaign.

The project tallies with the slogan of Emmanuel TV – Changing Lives, Changing Nations and Changing the World. The service began with the prayer line where multitudes received healing and deliverance, followed by a time of testimonies. Here are just a few of those who shared their testimonies with the world:

MAKING IMPOSSIBILITIES POSSIBLE

Mrs Hope Okeke, Anambra, Nigeria, came to The SCOAN in a wheelchair with a debilitating problem of inability to walk due to severe arthritis for two years. She had pain all over her body during those years and was unable to do any work.

She had visited many hospitals and herbalists in search of a solution but to no avail. Because of her confinement to a wheelchair her children had to be available at all times, to help with her business and her daily chores. She watched Emmanuel TV in her home and had seen how God is using the faculties of Prophet T.B. Joshua to bring solution to thousands of people whose situations were even worse than her own. This encouraged her to come to The SCOAN to receive her healing.

While she was inside her car praying and hoping that God would discover her, one of her sons came into the church and cried out to Prophet T.B. Joshua, announcing her condition. Prophet T.B. Joshua asked for her to be wheeled into the church and three visitors were asked to minister the New Anointing Water to her, in the name of Jesus Christ. As they ministered the New Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, her countenance changed and her eyes seemed to look into the distance. Moments later, she rose up and walked immediately!

Mrs Okeke testified that ever since her healing, she had been walking freely and without any pain. Truly, she encountered Jesus Christ, the Miracle Worker and her impossibilities became possible to the glory of God!

KIDNEY STONES FLUSHED OUT THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Mr Jeff Motsetsi, a teacher by profession, from Botswana, was diagnosed with kidney stones in 2009. This caused him unbearable pain and made him unable to perform his duties as a teacher. He had consulted the best medical professionals and had been administered various drugs but his condition only got worse. Traditional therapy had been taken by him to no avail.

In 2011, he was privileged to come to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. He went home and one day he was relaxing outside and enjoying the cool breeze when he experienced an excruciating pain caused by the kidney stones.

In desperation, he remembered that he had the Anointing Water with him. He managed to drag himself into the house and reached for the Anointing Water and added a little to a cup of ordinary drinking water. He then drank it, praying in faith that God would flush out the kidney stones from his system once and for all.

The next morning, when he went to the toilet, he passed out the kidney stones in his urine to his amazement. He had gone to many hospitals to no avail but with the Anointing Water, the kidney stones were urinated out.

He displayed his ‘before and after’ healing medical reports and also showed the actual kidney stones that he had urinated out, to the glory of God. His active lifestyle is now restored and he is completely free from pain or discomfort. His advice was that we should not underrate the Anointing Water because it is an “atomic bomb” that will flush out whatever is not of Jesus in us.

TUMOUR THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL MIRACULOUSLY DETACHED

Lemlem Kasa from the USA, shared an extraordinary testimony of the healing power of Jesus Christ through the Anointing Water. She had a huge tumour in her uterus, the size of a human head.

She had gone to many hospitals and the doctors told her that the only remedy was to remove her womb through an operation. She watched Emmanuel TV, saw the miracles and was encouraged and convinced that her own case would not escape the anointing of God.

She came to The SCOAN, received the Anointing Water and returned back to the USA, believing that the end of her problem had come. After ministering the Anointing Water, in Jesus’ name, she had a dream and saw herself in an operating theatre where the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua was preparing to perform a spiritual operation on her.

In that dream, Prophet T.B. Joshua, working as the head surgeon, asked one of the wise men to give him a scalpel with which he cut open her uterus, removed the tumour and threw it away. After the dream, she went back to the hospital and when they examined her, to their great surprise, the tumour had detached itself from the uterus making it easy for them to simply evacuate it.

She showed a photo of herself with a huge swollen stomach at the time she had the tumour. Now, she is healthy and strong. She thanked Jesus Christ for restoring her life.

JESUS’ GREAT DESIGN

Quoting Matthew 5:44, Prophet T.B. Joshua began his message by saying, “It was Jesus’ great design to engage His disciples to love one another.” He reminded people of the words of Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:6, explaining, “Without faith working by love, all else is worthless. Faith, where it is true, genuine, real and authentic, is a working grace; it works by love. Love does not intimidate; love does not condemn.”

Talking on the need to let love lead, he said, “We should be known by our love, regardless of religious, ethnic or social background. If you love your neighbour, you will be interested in his welfare.” He spoke practically on the need to see beyond religion or denomination when it comes to showing love and compassion to people. “The medical doctor you go to for a medical check-up and other health issues – you do not mind the faith they belong to as long as they are specialists. The company where you are working, you do not mind who is the chairman and the owner of the company. That is where you earn your livelihood with which you maintain your family, send your children to school and pay tithe in your church. You do not mind the faith he or she belongs to or their religious background. Talking of your education, you never mind the religion or faith your lecturer or teacher belongs to so far as he meets the needs of your education.”

THE MBA TOUR PARTNERS WITH EMMANUEL TV

In line with Prophet T.B. Joshua’s newly launched initiative to assist graduates with employment, a wonderful development has taken place! The MBA Tour, an international event organised to link prospective students with top level business administrative educational institutions around the world, have partnered with Emmanuel TV.

The West African representative of the MBA Tour, Hannah Bertilla Acquah came to The SCOAN to officially announce the unique partnership. She said, “The MBA Tour is here to officially partner with Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV. Our partnership is based on our mutual commitment to nation building through skills development for the young and corresponds with the man of God’s current project of assisting graduates with employment.

“Our partnership will enable African students who demonstrate outstanding potential, access to Fellowships at the world’s top business schools and academic institutions – including: Columbia Business School; Harvard Business School; MIT Sloan School of Management; Yale School of Management; IE University, Spain; Erasmus University, The Netherlands; INSEAD Business School, France.

“Representatives from these renowned institutions will identify the qualifying students and Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV will assist with financial scholarships.”

The MBA Tour which is just one of the hundreds of organisations across the world that have indicated interest in partnering with Emmanuel TV to see to the actualisation of the campaign. Talking about the need to commit resources into such charitable ventures, Prophet T.B. Joshua asked, “What is the value of money but to change lives, change nations and change the world”. He further added that “Our tomorrow should be better than our today.”

NIKUSHUKURU MUNGU KWA KUMTUMIA NABII TB JOSHUA

Nimshukuru Mungu kwa siku ya leo. Mungu ameweza kuniwezesha kuliona jua la siku ya Jumatatu. Ninatambua kuna wengi wamepoteza maisha yao siku ya leo, kuna wengine wamepata ajali usiku wa leo, kuna wengine wamepelekwa jela siku ya jana. Mungu wewe ni mwema sana katika maisha yangu. Ninakushukuru sana kwa mtumishi wa Mungu TB Joshua. amekuwa akinifariji sana kwa huduma yake ya kukutumikia wewe Mungu. Amekuwa akifanya kazi yako kwa kusaidia maisha ya watu yawe bora. Wale wote wanaopinga huduma yake kwa njia ya mitandao, au vyombo vya habari ninawapinga kwa jina la Yesu Kristo.

Mungu angali Emmanuel TV ambayo imekuwa baraka sana duniani. Imekuwa ni TV yenye kuheshimiwa na kuaminiwa na walio wengi. Mungu zidi kuwabariki wale wote wanaofanya kazi katika TV hiyo. Wape moyo wa uvumilivu pale wanapopitia magumu. Uwaondoa na roho za kishetani za kukatisha tamaa.

SCOAN SUNDAY SERVICE: JUNE 16, 2013 HAPPY BIRTHDAY AT 50!

The 50th Birthday Anniversary celebration of Prophet T.B. Joshua has come and gone but the euphoria still lingers in the atmosphere. In line with his advice that the spirit of the celebration should be made manifest in a life devoted to prayer for the Church of God for a strong bond of love and rededicating ourselves to the acts of giving for the rest of our lives; the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua emerged on the podium looking apparently renewed. The congregation was no less renewed as was evident from the number of people that lined up to share extraordinary testimonies.

In his brief message, Prophet T.B. Joshua reiterated his resolve to encourage job creation by entrepreneurs and organizations all over the world. In response to the numerous responses already received from across the globe, he said, we don’t need to ask whether a candidate belonged to this or that church. What matters is that they are human beings. If God give you job and you take God’s job, you must accept God and a sense of judgment will be the result; you will think right and judge right. You will have a desire to know what happens after this life is over. You will think about that if God gives you a job. The job offers will reduce crime and what is happening to the youth all over the world.

South African Gospel Singer Deborah Fraser was guest at The SCOAN Sunday Service where she performed two of her heart-rending hit-track songs to the high-spirited congregation who sang along and danced praising God.

Because of want of space, we are constrained to bring to you only a few of the testimonies of healing, deliverance and breakthroughs resulting from the use of the New Anointing Water, Anointing Sticker and praying with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV.

GOD QUALIFIES THE UNQUALIFIED


Mrs Mariana Parkhotyuk from the USA, was without a job until she visited The SCOAN during Prophet T.B. Joshua’s 49th birthday. She did not have the requisite qualifications for the job she had her eyes on. She was privileged to meet with the man of God who gave her the Anointing Water. When she returned to the USA she prayed and ministered the Anointing Water on herself and to her credentials and said to God, “God qualifies the unqualified”. After her prayers, she applied for a job as a Clinical Specialist and was given the job. The organization also sent her for on-the-job training which resulted in rapid promotion and new placement in her career. She not only has a bigger salary than she had ever received; she also got the chance to further her education through the job she was blessed with. She believes strongly that God used the medium of the Anointing Water to bring about more blessing and favour in her life.

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTED OUT OF NOWHERE

Mr Bryson Still from Washington, USA, started a degree course in Education but was unable to get the finances to further his education. He had made several efforts towards raising the necessary funds but was unsuccessful. He was privileged to receive the Anointing Water and anointed himself with prayer believing for a breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ. Shortly after, he received a call from the President of his college whom he never knew, offering him a scholarship to the tune of US $50,000 which covered his tuition and all other expenses. He now has a hope for a bright academic future to the glory of God.

HOPELESSNESS TURNED TO HAPPINESS


Lesego Mabote from Botswana, told her moving story of how in her place of work, she had been painfully waiting for promotion for more than 10 years. In spite of her strong attachment to her job and the zeal to do her best, she was disappointingly demoted whereas her colleagues were being promoted.



This unusual trend of administrative injustice caused her depression and she gave up hope of ever being able to move upward in her career.

She resigned herself to working only for money for food and utilities and not expecting a better and brighter career future.

In search of solution to her problem she went to prayer houses but nothing positive came out of her being prayed for.

Coming from a background of idol worshipping family, she was obliged to go back home to find out what the matter was. She was told by spiritualists that if she did not keep up the practices of her forbears she would not expect any success or breakthrough in her career. This revelation blackened her horizon and she believed there was not a single chance of her coming out of her predicament.

As she however watched Emmanuel TV and saw the wonderful testimonies given by people who had similar situation as hers, she decided to come to The SCOAN and was privileged to receive the Anointing Water.

When she got home, she began to minister the Anointing Water every day in the name of Jesus, believing that her help could only come from the Almighty. She also prayed that God should rewrite her history of being bound to family tradition. The Son of God declared her free and she is free indeed.

Not long after, out of the blue, she received a call from her manager that she was due to be promoted to Supervisor of the office.

She is now proud to be occupying the position of a Supervisor in her office. Her depression and despair have been turned into joy.

DRY BONES SHALL RISE AGAIN!

Mrs Navone from Tanzania was not able to walk and was bound to a wheelchair for a long time. She arrived at The SCOAN on a wheelchair. She had to depend on her children to do everything for her and that situation of helplessness affected her psychologically and caused her serious depression. She had to stop going to work and would sit at home all day, desperate for relief.

She went to many hospitals and traditional healers but no solution could be found. As she watched Emmanuel TV and saw many testimonies of people with even greater problems than her own she received renewed hope. The faith that her own miracle was possible made her ask to be brought to The SCOAN even if it meant coming on a stretcher.

When she arrived at The SCOAN, she was seated at the canopy section within the overflow congregation. According to her, she was surprised as she saw her daughter crying for the man of God to help her, that her mother was sick. The man of God sent for her and people came and quickly wheeled her inside the church.

The man of God, T.B. Joshua prayed for her, touched her and asked her to rise up, in Jesus’ name. Immediately, she got up and started walking without any pain. She can now carry out all her domestic chores without assistance from anyone!

Her daughter, Mary Mboya, also testified to the extraordinary healing which had taken place in the life of her mother. She explained how the constant care and attention the condition of her mother demanded, had become a burden to her. The journey from Tanzania to The SCOAN was not easy for them as they had to pass through several countries and the transfer from one aircraft or vehicle to another was tiring for both of them. Her mother would cry all night due to the pain in her legs.

Now, after the prayer, she sleeps peacefully. She no longer has to use a wheelchair and walks freely without any pain.

Their advice to the viewers and congregation was simple: Believe that Jesus Christ is the Healer and great Physician in this world.

After the testimony, Mrs Navone danced before the Lord with overflowing thankfulness in her heart. She was warmly embraced and



congratulated by the numerous attendees from all over the world who danced with her inside the church.

Safari yetu ilianzia jijini Dar es Salaam mida ya saa 8:00pm usiku kuelekea Ethiopia Adis Ababa, tulifika Ethiopia mnamo saa 7:00 mchana na baada ya hapo tukakaa airport kwa muda wa masaa matatu tukisubiria ndege ya kwenda Nigeria-Lagos. Muda ulipofika tuliingia katika ndege kuelekea Nigeria. Tulipofika katikati ya Nigeria na  Ethiopia, rubani wa ndege akatangaza kuwa katika ndege kunatatizo la oil (oil reckage) na tukaambia na wahudumu kuwa kila mtu afunge mikanda vizuri.

Baada ya kupewa hizo habari watu walianza kuwa na wasiwasi sana na wengine wakaanza maombi. Ndege ikaanza kuyumba huku inashuka taratibu na kuyumba sana. Rubani alifanikiwa kuigeuza ile ndege na kuelekea Ethiopia, Hali ilikuwa ngumu sana na ikasababisha watu kulia na wengine kukazana na kuomba. Mungu akatusaidia na kufanikiwa kufika Ethiopia Airport ambapo watu walilazimika kushuka na kuunganishiwa ndege nyingine.

Mungu alionekana "live" akiwatetea watumishi wake ambao walikuwa wakielekea kwa Nabii TB Joshua wakitokea Tanzania. Kwa akili ya kawaida ni ngumu sana kuamini kilichotokea katika safari hiyo.  Mungu aliokoa roho za watu takribani 400 ambao wangepoteza uhai wao au kuumia kama ajali ingetokea.

Muda mchache tuliunganishiwa ndege nyingine kuelekea Nigeria ambayo ilitufikisha salama  na baada ya kufika airport tulipokelewa na wenyeji na kuelekea katika mabasi yaliyokuwa yanatusubiri. Mabasi hayo yalitupeleka mpaka kanisani kwa TB Joshua (SCOAN of Synagogue) ambalo lipo mjini Lagos.
